Uh… Happy late New Year!

So it’s been lots of months since I last updated,  again. First semester of college is over, second starts… sooner than I’d like it to. In about six days, for me at least (I don’t have classes on the starting day). I only have class two days a week (*cackle*), and three (if you count lecture and lab chem seperately, four) classes on those two days. It’s kind of a busy two days, but it’s only two days - I figured what’s the point in showing up for like one or two classes a day, every day.

Anyway, I’m hungry and would like to go eat my (late) lunch, so I’ll make this fast. I changed my layout again (mostly because I was bored) and photoshopped myself up a header for it. Sorry if it hurts your eyes. Also changed my avatar; the Ema Skye one was getting a little old. In case no one has noticed, I really like purple. Okay I’m going now. Lunch time. BYE.

NOTE: THIS POST DISPLAYS AS BEING POSTED AT 2:15, CST. THAT IS A LIE, BECAUSE WORDPRESS IS STUPID AND DOESN’T ADJUST FOR DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME. IT WAS POSTED AT 3:15 CST.

Okay, okay.

I realize that nobody probably even reads this, but I’m going to apologize to my imaginary readers anyway. It’s been since what… May? The last time I posted was to announce that I was to graduate in a week or so, and then I graduated and spent the entire summer forgetting that this existed. So now I sit here listening to this senseless Korean pop song, (It’s catchy. Don’t judge me.) and apologizing to you all.
Terribly sorry.

So yeah, I graduated and all that fun stuff. Now I’m in college wading through the stuff I have to get out of the way for my Associate in Science transfer degree… thing. Woe, community college. I actually, hopefully get my Chemistry class next semester, though, so there is hope. The fire diamond on the outside of the Math & Science building is graced with 4, 4, 2, W, ACID, so there should be some truly enjoyable chemicals in the lab class. No, I am not crazy.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a disgusting pile of Speech work to sift through. Public speaking, just one of the many scourges of the universe.

Oh Dear

Yes, I know, I’m a bad panda. I haven’t updated in like… two months. I’m sorry. D:

So yesterday was my last day of school.
Ever. I graduate in six days or so.
Except not, because this fall I’ll be going to college to study Chemistry and all that fun stuff.

Short post is short!

Yay, spring break!
I promised I’d update soon, so here it is.

Joined a bunch of fanlistings today, linkbacks are found on my Links page.
I’ve been playing more Apollo Justice, and while I miss the old characters from the Phoenix arc, the new ones are pretty likeable, and the game is just as fun. My verdict on Klavier: awesome, but still not Edgeworth-level awesome.
I almost died of all the panty jokes in Case 2. I’m on Case 3 now, which makes me sad, because I know that there are only 4 cases… ;____;
RODiary came back awhile ago after a reeeally long downtime. I should post something, but I really have nothing to post.

And now, I must be off! *hurls snackoos*

Not Dead Yet

EDIT: Just to make it clear, this post was made at 6:45 PM, CST. I don’t know about everyone else, but when I fix my timestamp to18:45, the time I actually made this entry, it disappears, so I’m putting it at 5:45 instead.
What the hell, WordPress?

I’m updating this thing. Honest…

Anyway, layout change. The other one, as much as I liked it, was messing up… This one is too, actually, but the mess-up is less obvious. I hope to be able to switch back soon, if WordPress resolves the problem, or whatever. I dunno. I miss my tagline. ;_;

SO.

I finished the third and last Phoenix Wright game today – good ending. Sort of. >: Whyyyy Godot? Whyyyyyy?! Also, I knew Franziska wasn’t a complete bitch. Honest!
I’ve moved onto the First, and so far only (in the US, anyway) Apollo Justice game.
WINSTON PAYNE LOOKS LIKE A LLAMA. Have you seen his hair? LLAMA. I didn’t think his hair could get any worse than it was prior to the timeline of the first three games… You know, with the… yeah… that. But it could. It did. LLAMA.
PHOENIX IS A HOBO. Hobohodo. D: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, CAPCOM? WHAT HAVE YOU DOOONE? ;;
No verdict yet on that prosecutor guy, Klavier, I think it was? Haven’t seen him in-game yet. I assure you, he can’t be as awesome as Godot or Edgeworth. It’s not possible. Inconceivable.
What strange habit will he have? (MAY 21 EDIT: His strange habit happens to be air guitar. During trials.) All of the Prosecution had strange habits. Well. Most of them. Manfred von Karma was a shrieking, attourney-murdering psycho, Franziska was a whip-wielding sadist, Godot drank seventeen cups of coffee per trial, and god knows how many per day, and he was blind, and had a visor with LASER BEAMZ. Winston Payne had this habit of sucking, but I guess I wouldn’t call that a weird habit. Just a habit. Edgeworth was pretty normal. Except he was really awesome. He had a habit of being really really awesome.
I’ll make another update. You know. Eventually. Hopefully within the next… month, or so.
Later!

Titles Are Still Overrated

So. Over a month later, I finally bother to update this again.
RO Diary is down for some reason, don’t know why, so I can’t mess around on that. And so I’m here.
No school today, I’m off due to parent teacher conferences. I plan to update this and then play Phoenix Wright: Trials & Tribulations. Because it’s awesome.

Jeff’s old forum, IYP, is miraculously back from the dead, and can be found here. It can also be accessed via the Momento Mori Forums link  in my blogroll. Jeff’s other forum that he made in IYP’s place, before he found out he was going to get it back is, to the best of my knowledge, inactive now.
You should visit MMF/IYP if you have the time, really. Several people have found their way back to the forum, but so far I’m the only new person.
That about wraps up my post. <:

Titles Are Overrated

•January 15, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Mostly I just couldn’t think of a title, actually.

I think I can do this blog thing, maybe, so long as I remember to update it. And… have stuff to update with.
Tomorrow’s Wednesday, (obviously), and apparently we’ll be assigned projects in Physics tomorrow that will be due the Wednesday of next week.
Oh boy. Projects. In Physics. Sounds epic.
By epic I mean agonizing. Funny how my synonym use works.
Anyway, I sure wish I could write this during school. I knew what I was going to write when I was in third hour, at least…
Third hour. Yes. Today was an A-Day, (don’t ask about the high school’s retarded scheduling; it’s retarded), so I, as I stated yesterday, TA’d for the two math classes during third and fourth hour, my study hall block, (I love commas – don’t you?). The teacher for these two classes, (whose name shall be withheld, for this is the Internets), is still not back. And has not been since a week from tomorrow. Yet another substitute teacher. Yet another poor, confused teacher to explain my presence to. ‘Hi, nice to meet you, no, I’m not in Integrated Math 1, no, I’m a senior, not a sophomore. I’m the Teacher Assistant. Teacher Assitant. I assist. The teacher. Teacher Assistant. Yeah, I’ll just sit over here and look useful. If anyone has questions – which they won’t, they can ask me and I’ll help them. Yes. And I need you to sign this. Thanks.’
So apparently this sub is going to be with the class for two weeks or so. Starting to wonder if the original teacher hasn’t lost her job, and if she’ll ever return. I have to find someone to sign my timelog for last Monday, and then the Wednesday that she was there for – for one of the two classes. She had to leave. Let’s not talk about that. Ah, high school.
Instead we’ll talk about something funny. I thought it was pretty funny. What’s funny is when a completely spoiled class of sophomores meets a substitute teacher who actually tries to exercise control over the class – you know, make them listen, and actually teach the curriculum. Naturally this didn’t sit well with them. What? We have to learn today? We have to learn math? I don’t want to learn math, I’ll just talk to my peers over here. I literally had to hold my breath to keep from laughing when she told a student who was turned around talking to the person behind him, to turn back around and write ‘I will face the front of the class’ twenty-five times on a sheet of notebook paper, because she’d had to tell him to turn around far too many times. Twenty-five times, no, not five, I said twenty-five. No. Not five. Why? Because I told you to. Then she had to tell him about three more times to do that, and there passed a point in which the student asked, again ‘Why do I have to do this? I’m not a kindergardener.’ The teacher’s response, though I don’t remember it exactly, was not very creative. A better answer would have been ‘Then, perhaps you should stop acting like one’. Really. Eventually the incident ended with the student being sent out in the hall to write the sentences. Judging from the way he was sliding up and down the hallway every five minutes on his chest, I doubt he ever even started them.
Anyway that was how most of third hour passed. Eventually the amusement at the sheer nerve of the class wore off, and I was bored again. I started teaching myself that pen-baton trick with my fingers. The one the debate students can do. Yeah, that one, you know what I’m talking about. It’s still pretty slow, and I drop it or have to use my thumb to counterbalance it, but I’m getting there. I’ll let you know.
Fourth hour was kind of like that. Eventually I grew tired of the amazing pen twirling and worked on my story, which I wrote a lot of today.
Nobody asked for help today. Nobody.
This is beginning to look rather like an essay instead of a blog entry, so I’ll try not to drag it out too much longer. After third and fourth hour was fifth. Obviously. Anyway, fifth hour is College Chemistry. And in College Chem, we’re doing Thermochemistry. Let me tell you about Thermochemistry.
It’s Physics. Or maybe Chemistry that thinks it’s Physics? Either way it’s far too like Physics, and I’m tired of Physics. Positively sick of hearing about Kinetic and Potential Energy. Now instead of once a day, in the morning, I have to hear about it twice a day. There are differences, obviously – we’ve kind of moved off the Kinetic and Potential energy bit in Chemistry and onto heat energy, but it’s still energy. Which we are also doing in Physics. Work and Energy. Good times. Good times. The Chem and Physics teachers must get together and conspire sometimes, really. I actually asked my Physics teacher about this, and he said no, but I believe that this is blasphemy. I’m telling you, it was planned.
Anyway, thankfully, I’ve run out of material, as the rest of my day wasn’t too terribly interesting. Assuming that the part I’ve shared was interesting. Assuming.
I’m going now – honest.
Bye.

Wut?

So I did some stuff on my RO Diary today, (just edits and some template work), so I figured I’d hop on here and… do stuff.
Keep this thing from dying. In forums I believe we’d call this bumping. But you know. Me and forums. We usually don’t mix.
Too many people.
You can always tell when I’m straining for something to blog about, because I start…
Doing this.
Yeah. This. I do this.
You know what I’m talking about.
So yeah. Stuff. I’m putting stuff here. Just give me a minute to figure out what.
Internet2 is really fast. Jeff said so. DINOSAURS HAVE TEEN PREGNANCIES TOO!
I don’t want to go to school tomorrow. But I think I have Friday off. I know I have Monday off. So I have a three day weekend, maybe four. But that’s in like 4 more days. Dx God help me, I have to Teacher Assist for that class again tomorrow. And I discovered I have this log I’m supposed to keep, so I’ll have to catch up on that… Hopefully the teacher will sign for the last three days I hadn’t logged yet. I just have to figure out what times the class started, ended, etc. Once I get the log going it won’t be that hard. I just have to remember.
Antimatter comes from black holes, you guys. Maybe I should divide by zero.

Blogtime gogo!

So I made a blogthingy. Jeef has one, so I made one. Go look at it. I demand it of you. Though I doubt you’ll have seen mine without seeing his first anyway.
So really if I start making promises to update all the time I foresee myself making entries like once a year… That’s the way it generally goes.
So yeah this is my blog.
I put things here.
Honest.
